Fishing Cat Life Cycle
The fishing cat life cycle begins with birth, where kittens are born blind and helpless, relying on their mother for nourishment and protection. As they grow, they learn essential hunting skills, such as catching fish and small prey, from their mother. By around 10 months, they become independent and start to establish their own territories. Adult fishing cats mate and reproduce, continuing the cycle, with females giving birth to litters of one to four kittens. This cycle is crucial for maintaining their population in wetland habitats.
