Traditional Pakistani values emphasize community trust and verbal agreements, which scammers often exploit. Many victims hesitate to report these crimes due to “sharam“ （shame） about being deceived, allowing the cycle to continue.
Educational initiatives must incorporate cultural sensitivity, using local languages like Urdu, Punjabi, and Sindhi, and involving community elders and religious leaders to effectively warn people about fake lottery schemes.
