Which Cards Win in Poker
In poker, the winning hand is determined by the ranking of card combinations. The highest ranking hand is the Royal Flush, which consists of Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten, all of the same suit.Following the Royal Flush is the Straight Flush, which is any five consecutive cards of the same suit. Then comes Four of a Kind, which is four cards of the same rank.
Full House is next, consisting of three cards of one rank and two cards of another rank. After that is the Flush, which is any five cards of the same suit, not in sequence.
Straight is five consecutive cards of different suits. Three of a Kind is three cards of the same rank. Two Pair means two different pairs of cards. One Pair is two cards of the same rank, and High Card is when no other hand is made, and the highest card wins.
