The announcement of the film was made by Nintendo, which will also co-produce alongside Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Following the release of first look of Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link, the fans has already spotted one key detail hidden in the picture.
Bragason\“s Zelda is featured in the iconic video game princess wearing a powder-blue tunic.
The eagle eyed fans, on looking closely uncovered the iconic Triforce crest, which has become the de facto logo of the Legend of Zelda franchise over the years, appears to be interwoven into the fabric of Princess Zelda\“s clothing. /wp-content/uploads/2025/11/5785492225438533989.jpg
The three triangles of Triforce are meant to represent the Golden Goddess who created he Zelda world: Din, Nayru, and Farore.
Each goddess embodies different virtues: wisdom, courage, and power. In the real world, these virtues are associated with each of the prophesied trio: Zelda, Link, and Ganon, the villain.
Many of the games since 1986, focus on Link and Zelda trying to capture all three pieces of the triforce to keep its divine power out of hands of Ganon.
Fans on X shared their thoughts on the subtle detail.
One fan wrote, “I love how Zelda’s clothes has Triforce iconography sewn in.“
“omg Zelda’s tunic having triforce pattern,“ wrote another one.
A third user added, “Zelda’s tunic is embroided with triforces, such an amazing detail.“

With the production on-going in New Zealand, The Legend of Zelda is slated for release on May 7, 2027.
