Inland fishing takes place in rivers like the Indus, lakes such as Manchar and Keenjhar, and numerous reservoirs and ponds. This sector provides essential protein sources for local populations and supports rural economies. Traditional fishing methods are often used, though modern techniques are gradually being adopted to enhance sustainability and yield.
