CCPO Orders Citywide Action Against ‘Dala Culture’ and Display of Weapons

Lahore: Capital City Police Officer （CCPO） Bilal Siddique Kamyana has launched a strict crackdown against the notorious ‘Dala Culture’ — a trend involving the use of heavily modified vehicles and armed displays to intimidate the public.  

The meeting was attended by senior police officials, including DIGs, SSPs, SPs, ASPs, and SHOs of the Civil Lines and Model Town divisions. The CCPO directed DIG （Operations） to take immediate action against individuals promoting this car-based display of power and lawlessness.

Kamyana also directed to increase patrolling in hotspot areas and the use of Hotel Eye surveillance software to curb street crimes.

The CCPO stated that public roads should remain safe and free from car-based hooliganism and the display of weapons.
