Reese Witherspoon gets emotional as she reaches final stage of book tour

Reese Witherspoon has finally offered a glimpse into the final stage of a book tour with bestselling author Harlan Coben.

The Sweet Home Alabama actress turns to Instagram on October 30 and expresses gratitude to Harlan after wrapping up the book tour, Gone Before Goodbye. Advertisement

In the clip, Reese and Harlan can be seen hugging each other as the author reveals that this is “their last big tour stop” in Nashville.

“Wrapping up the book tour with @harlancoben and feeling so grateful,” writes the 49-year-old in a social media post.

Reese says, “Can’t believe how much fun this project has been.”

In the end, the Legally Blonde actress adds, “Thank you for all the support. I feel so lucky (and little emotional!) about being in my author era!”

Meanwhile, fans jump to the comment section and share their views, as one writes, “Thank you for coming to London as part of your book tour.”

Another states, “The book was amazing! Loved hearing you in the audio book!”

“Thank you @reesewitherspoon and @harlancoben for wrapping up the tour in Nashville. Such a wonderful night and great opportunity to meet you both!” adds some other user.

Interestingly, there are some fans who took Harlan as Devil Wears Prada star Stanley Tucci.

“Am I the only one who thought this was Stanley Tucci?” points out a user.

Another quips, “I was trying to figure out why Stanley Tucci was on your book tour.”

Earlier, speaking to Sky News, Reese explains what motivated her to become a novelist.

“People want you to stay in your lane… as a creative person I think it\“s impossible to just choose one kind of life,” argues The Morning Show star.

Reese believes that creativity is “infinite” which is why, “who I was as a creative person when I was 20 is very different from the person I am now at 49”.
