Prince Andrew may leave UK as legal action looms

Prince Andrew has given an opportunity to Anti-monarchist groups to use his scandals to strengthen their narrative against the royal family and their lifestyles.

The former Duke of York is receiving alarming news as the Republic has engaged legal specialists to conduct an investigation. Advertisement

King Charles III\“s younger brother could face legal action as the campaign group is investigating and exploring ways to ensure accountability and justice.

The Republic CEO Graham Smith said: “If not us, then who? It\“s a devastating indictment on the UK\“s criminal justice system, police and politicians - not to mention the king and heir - that we must resort to a private prosecution.“

Smith shows no mercy to the royal in his words, explaining, \“It should be a cause for concern that so many people believe - rightly in my view - that the royals are not treated equally in law. Equality in law is a basic tenet of democracy.\“

It emerges after the royal family asked him to leave the royal lodge, giving Andrew a reason to flee from the ongoing protests and possible legal action against him in his homeland.

A palace source confirmed: \“Andrew has been advised to change his surroundings.\“

They continued: \“It\“s time for him to prioritise his well-being and find a way to heal, Oh yes, he\“s undiubtedly under extreme stress about his family\“s future and reputaion following new claims.\“

The charges under consideration include sexual assault, corruption and misconduct whilst holding public office. Andrew, 65, has consistently denied all allegations against him.

However, the Metropolitan Police considered that the sexual assault claims were not sufficient to warrant further investigation.

Meanwhile, Smith thinks differently, stressing: \“I firmly believe there is strong enough evidence to justify a serious investigation.\“

\“The authorities and politicians appear to want to look the other way, while minimising the accusations made against Andrew. The truth must prevail and justice must be seen to be done,\“ Graham Smith said.

The group has persistently advocated for police action and prosecution of Andrew, who is said to be thinking to travel to an unknown destination to avoid the spotlight.
