Prince William on losing special family member: \“very sad\“
Prince William made a sad admission about losing a special member of his family, leaving him, Princess Kate, and their children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, very sad.
The Prince of Wales has been making the headlines since he showcased his rare emotional side in an interview with Canadian actor Eugene Levy.
In one of the clips of The Reluctant Traveler show, William was seen introducing the Waleses\“ pet Cocker Spaniel, Orla, to the Hollywood star.
Eugene gave a treat to the sweet dog, to which the future King said, “This is going down well, look, you’re getting the look which is like \“please feed me\“.
In response, Eugene said, “And that\“ll do it. Oh my goodness…“
During this delightful moment, William recalled the loss of his and Catherine\“s beloved dog, Lupo, who passed away in 2020.
He shared, “So [Orla\“s] actually the niece of our other dog, Lupo, who sadly we lost in lockdown.“
Eugene asked, “Were you there? When it happened?“
William replied, “Yeah, we were all there sadly; it was very sad.“
In November 2020, the Prince and Princess of Wales announced the death of Lupo, “the heart“ of their family.
“Very sadly, last weekend our dear dog, Lupo, passed away. He has been at the heart of our family for the past nine years, and we will miss him so much,“ the couple penned a heartfelt message.
It is worth noting that the royal couple received the pooch as a wedding gift from Princess Kate\“s brother, James Middleton, in 2011.
As of now, William and Kate\“s beloved Orla has also recently welcomed puppies, which were present in the official 43rd birthday portrait of the Prince of Wales. |
