Millie Bobby Brown faced online attention after fans questioned her husband Jake Bongiovi’s behaviour during a recent outing with their baby.

Some fans suggested that his actions were a red flag and said he appeared detached and offered little support during the public appearance.

Other fans defended him, pointing to images shared by the Stranger Things star that showed him holding the baby and arguing that the criticism was unfair.    

Bongiovi, son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, married Brown in May 2024 after their engagement in April 2023.  

However, the couple welcomed their adopted daughter in August 2025 and have been prioritising their and family life privacy.

During another outing, the Enola Holmes actress was seen hiding her daughter from paparazzi while her hisab and close friend Noah Schnapp helped her.  

Moreover, observers noticed that Schnapp was carrying family bags, which fueled discussion about Bongiovi’s role during public moments.

Brown has spoken about her experience as a mother, reflecting on the importance of keeping her daughter’s life private until she is ready to share more.  

She told British Vogue that parenthood shifted her perspective and made small moments feel more precious, saying that her days are now full of cuddles, laughter and love.  

Jon Bon Jovi also shared his joy as a grandfather, calling the experience both crazy and wonderful.  

Despite online criticism, Millie praised Jake as the most amazing dad and highlighted their shared commitment to raising their child with care and privacy.
