Princess Eugenie takes on key royal task as Prince William holds meeting
Princess Eugenie remains undeterred as she is continuing to prove her loyalty to the royal family despite the major setback in the York family life.
The younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson has not made any statements on the scandals of her parents even as the scrutiny begins to fall on her and her elder sister Princess Beatrice. The York sisters have kept their focus on their families and personal milestones.
Even though there have been suggestions by royal sources that there is no way the Princesses would receive a prominent position as a working member, Eugenie took on a special task as Prince William is set to hold an important meeting.
Eugenie had taken a supporting role for her cousin, William, as she accompanied Princess Rajwa al Hussein in London on Monday.
In an update shared by King Charles’s niece, she wrote that it was “an absolute pleasure” to visit Springfield University Hospital at South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS trust with the Jordanian royal.
“We viewed a number of artworks created as part of an initiative by the charity Hospital Rooms, which integrates art into mental health care environments,” she added.
“Their mission is to commission leading international artists to produce permanent, high-quality works for mental health wards across the UK’s National Health Service, helping create welcoming and uplifting spaces for patients. Truly beautiful.”
The visit came just two days before William is set to meet with Rajwa’s husband, Hussein, Crown Prince of Jordan on Wednesday. It is seen as a good effort to build diplomatic ties between the two countries.
This also appears to be a sign of trust the royals have shown to Eugenie, despite the ongoing crisis with Andrew and Fergie.
Royal sources have shared that William holds sympathy for his cousins and believes they are not the ones at fault in their parents\“ mess. |
