King Charles receives fresh plea from Virginia Giuffre family
Prince Andrew’s most vocal accuser Virginia Giuffre had caused a stir in the royal family which had continued to cause massive trouble for the royal family for years.
It finally culminated into a strict action taken by the royals as Andrew was forced to give up his royal titles, including Duke of York, and his honours.
Although, Virginia’s voice has made a difference for the victims of abuse and human trafficking, she is sadly not here to witness it herself.
The family of Virginia broke their silence after King Charles’s disgraced brother made the announcement. The family released a statement on Friday just hours after the official news came from Andrew.
“We, the family of Virginia Roberts Giuffre, believe that Prince Andrew’s decision to give up his titles is vindication for our sister and survivors everywhere,” the statement read.
“This decisive action is a powerful step forward in our fight to bring Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s child sex-trafficking network to justice.”
Despite Andrew’s decision, Virginia’s family believes that it is “appropriate for King Charles to remove the title of Prince” given the accusations he still faces.
The statement had come from Virginia’s brothers and sisters-in-law – Sky and Amanda Roberts, and Danny and Lanette Wilson.
The update comes after excerpts from Virginia’s posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl, started making headlines just weeks before its official release.
Virginia accused Andrew of having illicit relations with her while she was underaged and was threatened to keep quiet by Jeffery Epstein. Even though Andrew has denied any wrongdoing, he did make a financial settlement with Virginia in 2022 after she came out with her story.
In his latest statement, he continued to deny the accusations against him. |
