Princess Anne jets to Scotland for key task as King Charles ‘steps back’

Buckingham Palace confirmed a series of important royal engagements that Princess Anne will be taking on as King Charles mulls his next plan of action.

The Princess Royal, known to be the hardest working royal and the strongest supporter for her brother, is doing everything she can in her power to not leave a lull in the work of the monarchy even in times of crisis. Advertisement

The royal family continues to be under intense public scrutiny even though Prince Andrew gave up his royal titles and honours earlier this month after a discussion with the King and the “immediate and wider” family. Moreover, there are also movements being made to finally evict the former Duke of York from his lavish Royal Lodge.

Meanwhile, the public is not very forgiving of the royals, especially Charles, for stalling the action against the Andrew so long, despite the terrible accusations against him and his friendship with Jeffery Epstein.

King Charles’s sister, who is the Deputy Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, will be making visit to the 2nd Battalion, Glencourse Barracks at Milton Bridge in Midlothian on Thursday, October 30.

Anne will then attend the Conference at Pentlands Science Park in her capacity as the patron of the Moredun Foundation followed by the reception at The Royal Scots Club as the patron of the Unicorn Preservation Society in the City of Edinburgh.

The next day, her mission will continue as Anne, patron of Scottish Rugby Union, will attend a ‘Team Run’ Training Session at Murrayfield Stadium. Then as an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, she will open the Dr. Joyce Grainger Learning Centre.

Anne’s Scottish visit comes just two days after King Charles was heckled over one of his royal engagements in Lichfield, where the heckler directly asked the monarch about how long had he known about Andrew and Epstein.

The incident had left the King stressed out, according to a source cited by Hollywood insider Rob Shuter. They claim that the stress has taken a hit on his health.
