Meghan Markle shocking demands surface after Harry’s Canada announcement

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been taking a slightly different approach in terms of their professional work, even though they still jointly operate all charitable efforts via their Archewell Foundation.

On Monday, The Duke of Sussex’s team announced that he would be travelling to Canada to attend a charity dinner for True Patriot Love Foundation on November 5-6. As the news emerged, some bizarre demands of Meghan resurfaced from her own charity event in the country. Advertisement

Before she married Prince Harry, Meghan served as World Vision’s “global ambassador” for the Canadian part of the charity for two years.

The former Suits actress at time was meant to be part of a film about building water wells in the African country, Rwanda, in January 2016 to promote her “humanitarian” status, according to royal biographer Tom Bower.

The author revealed in his book that Meghan “insisted on flying to Rwanda first-class and be accompanied by Gabor Jurina, a Canadian fashion photographer Michael Goyette, an American hair and makeup-stylist was also listed as travelling with Gabor”.

Bower shared that Meghan’s demands far exceeded the budget from production which earned a scathing verdict from the film’s producer Brenda Surminski, who was forced to drop out.

After the shoot, the producer said that it was “mind-blowing” that someone staged a photoshoot in an impoverished village and “opportunistically orchestrated the trip to pose as a philanthropist”.
