Ariana Grande aggressor faces consequences after public condemnation

Ariana Grande Singapore accident appeared to have reached its resolution as the aggressor who attacked the pop star has now received punishment.

The 32-year-old actress and singer was grabbed by an Australian man, Johnson Wen, during her Wicked: For Good movie premiere in Singapore, which left her shaken.

The incident, which went viral on social media, caught a lot of attention with people and celebrities condemning it alike, and calling for firm action.

It is now reported that a Singapore court has sentenced Wen to nine days in prison, after it was revealed that he is a “serial intruder” and posts videos of himself charging at celebrities to gain popularity, as per BBC News.

Soon after the Thursday incident, Wen posted on his Instagram and proudly announced that he was free.

The next day, he was arrested and charged with public nuisance, which led to the sentence.

While the 7 Rings hitmaker has not spoken about the public attack, her co-star Cynthia Erivo appeared to allude to the incident during a recent interview, saying, “We have come through some s--t. We have come through some stuff in our lives, in our daily workings. mean, f---, even this last week.“

Erivo was also present during the incident and quickly jumped to help Grande, trying to get Wen away from her and yelling for security.
