Jimmy Kimmel hits back at Donald Trump in response to his demand from ABC to pull the show Jimmy Kimmel Live! off air.
This isn’t the first time that the US President has made such a demand.
In fact, earlier this year the show was temporarily suspended.
The 58-year-old addressed his repeated calls for dismissal.
Losing count of the times he has made these demands; Kimmel branded his attempts ‘disturbing’.
Answering his latest call, saxophone player Cleto’s childhood friend made his stance clear: “I’ll go when you go.”
He joked that the two should exit the stage together.
“We’ll be a team. Let’s ride off into the sunset together like Butch Cassidy and the Suntan Kid,” Kimmel suggested.
“And until then, if I may borrow a phrase from you: ‘Quiet, piggy’,” he continued.
He mocked that these rants have become a regular feature.
“Every five weeks, he flips out and wants me fired. If you got this many threats from a neighbour, you’d have no problem getting a restraining order.”
Just a few days back Trump made the same demand from NBC to get rid of Seth Meyers.
He also replied in his signature humorous manner. |
