Meghan Markle appears unhappy with her husband Prince Harry’s decision to return to the royal fold as her unexpected actions seem to have reopened the Duke’s emotional wounds.
The Duchess of Sussex has avoided making further public comments against the royal family since her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, but some of her moves suggest that she still feels hurt and angry at the some senior royals.
Meghan might not be the hurdle to Harry’s attempt to reconcile with his British family, but she’s neither a support for the Duke to continue his efforts to make peace with them.
The former Suits star made headline for her recent move that allegedly reignited the Duke\“s unhealed trauma amid his ongoing efforts to return to the UK.
Meghan was accused of sharing a video from Paris showing the bridge near the tunnel where William and Harry\“s mother Princess Diana was killed in a car crash at the age of 36 in 1997.
However, it’s not confirmed that the place was the same as mentioned, but some royal experts and historians believe the attempt was to remind Harry of the horrific accident that somehow stopped him from travelling to Europe.
One royal expert described the move as “disgustingly insensitive“ and “deeply upsetting“ to the Duke tythat even left Harry “furious and heartbroken“.
Richard Fitzwilliams blasted the “utterly bewildering” and “beyond stupid” social media upload, calling the post “insensitive beyond belief.”
The post, which went viral within the hours, sparked outrage across social media and reignited tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family.
“Harry was livid. He couldn\“t believe she\“d filmed anything near that location – it\“s sacred ground for him. He told her it felt like she\“d turned the worst moment of his life into a backdrop for a fashion shoot,“ a close friend of the couple told Radar Online.
They even went on “He\“s been carrying around rage and grief for years, and this reopened old wounds.“
Some experts and authors close to Meghan believe that the Duchess won’t let Harry return to the royal fold as she feels she will lose the Duke if he reunites with his royal relatives, and all her hopes and dreams will be shattered as well. |
