 Duchess Sophie marks major win as key royals engage in feud
Duchess Sophie marked a big win amid the ongoing feud among the members of the royal family.
The Duchess of Edinburgh has been assigned key royal engagements by King Charles, especially after his cancer diagnosis.
The mother of two received praise from a royal expert for her dedication and sincerity towards the institution.
Sean Smith told GB, “The media has been and continues to be obsessed with the family drama involving Harry, Meghan, William, Kate and Charles. It’s a soap opera.“
He added, “（Meanwhile） Sophie （has been） comforting women and children refugees.“
Sophie, who is quite vocal about women\“s rights, most recently in the Democratic Republic of Congo at the request of the Foreign and Development Office.
According to Buckingham Palace, the royal witnessed the devastating impact of the ongoing conflict, particularly on women and girls.
She met women peacebuilders who are working on the ground to highlight their work supporting local peace initiatives.
As per the royal family\“s official social media channels, Duchess Sophie has been a “global champion for the Women, Peace and Security （WPS） agenda and a supporter of the UK’s Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative （PSVI） for a number of years.“
