Prince William, Princess Kate send positivity as royals cope with crisis
The Prince and Princess of Wales appeared in high-spirits and a beacon of hope for what the future holds despite the ongoing turmoil in the royal family.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are seemingly taking on some key royal tasks before their big move, as the couple made an unannounced visit to Northern Ireland for an important visit. Meanwhile, the royals grapple with the onslaught of scrutiny following the scandals of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson and what looms for them.
It is understood that the Palace has been making efforts to deal with the crisis. The future King and Queen are making efforts to shed light on the more positive elements of the royal life: public service.
On Tuesday, William and Kate visited the Mallon Farm in County Tyrone and experienced country life. The two were seen laughing and interacting with the locals as they learned the many traditions that have evolved into more modern and efficient working.
In a video shared by Kensington Palace, a rare glimpse of the visit was shared in which Charlie and Helen spoke about how for the past seven years they have been growing flax helped the local community and spreading positive change.
“At Mallon Farm in County Tyrone, where tradition meets innovation in the revival of Northern Ireland’s flax-to-linen heritage,” the message read. “From field to fibre to fabric, Helen and Charlie are rebuilding a sustainable, local supply chain that celebrates creativity, collaboration and care for the environment.”
They added that this is a “wonderful example of a positive, future-focused Northern Ireland”.
The appearance from William and Kate was a fresh relief for the royal family as they faced constant bad press from the Duke and Duchess of York and their constant scandals. While the royal family continues to deal with the turmoil, the Waleses maintained an image of stability for the King and the Palace. |
