The game of 5 Cards Poker is a popular form of poker that is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The goal of the game is to make the best possible 5-card hand out of the 7 cards dealt to each player. Here are the basic rules of the game.
How to Play:
1. The dealer shuffles and deals 7 cards to each player, with 3 cards dealt face-down and 4 cards dealt face-up. The first 3 cards are dealt to the player to the dealer\“s left, and the last 4 cards are dealt to the dealer.
2. Players take turns discarding 1 to 3 cards and drawing cards from the deck to replace them. Each player has 3 opportunities to improve their hand.
3. After all players have had their turns, the best 5-card hand is determined based on standard poker hand rankings.
Hand Rankings:
1. Royal Flush - The highest possible hand, consisting of the A, K, Q, J, and 10, all of the same suit.
2. Straight Flush - Five consecutive cards of the same suit.
3. Four of a Kind - Four cards of the same rank.
4. Full House - Three of a kind and a pair.
5. Flush - Any five cards of the same suit, but not in sequence.
6. Straight - Five consecutive cards of any suit.
7. Three of a Kind - Three cards of the same rank.
8. Two Pair - Two different pairs.
9. One Pair - Two cards of the same rank.
10. High Card - The highest card in a player\“s hand. |
