In poker, a full house is one of the strongest hands in most variants of the game. It consists of three cards of one rank and two cards of another rank. For example, three Kings and two Queens would be a full house, often referred to as Kings full of Queens.
The ranking of full houses is determined first by the three of a kind, then by the pair. So, three Aces and two Kings would beat three Kings and two Aces. If two players have the same three of a kind, the pair is used as the tiebreaker.
Full houses are relatively rare, occurring about 0.1441% of the time in a standard 5-card poker hand. This makes them stronger than flushes but weaker than four of a kind and straight flushes.
