Fishing is one of the secondary professions available in World of Warcraft Classic. It allows players to catch fish from various water bodies throughout Azeroth. Fishing skill ranges from 1 to 300, with different fishing levels required to successfully catch fish in different zones.
In starting areas like Elwynn Forest and Dun Morogh, players can begin fishing with skill level 1. As you progress to higher level zones like Stranglethorn Vale and Azshara, you\“ll need higher fishing skill to avoid catching junk items. At skill level 225, you can complete the Artisan Fishing quest to increase your maximum skill to 300.
Fishing provides valuable materials for cooking profession and can be quite profitable when targeting rare fish like Winter Squid or Stonescale Eels. Many players enjoy fishing as a relaxing activity while waiting for dungeon groups or between PvP battles. |
