7 Card Stud Poker is a popular variation of poker that combines skill and strategy. The game is played with a standard 52-card deck and can be played with two to eight players. Here are the basic rules of 7 Card Stud Poker:
1. Blinds and Antes: The game begins with the dealer dealing two cards to each player, one face down and one face up. The player to the dealer\“s left places the small blind, and the player to the small blind\“s left places the big blind. An ante may also be required.
2. Betting Rounds: There are four betting rounds in 7 Card Stud Poker. After the initial deal, players can bet, raise, or fold. The betting continues until all but one player has folded.
3. Card Dealing: After the first betting round, the dealer deals a third card face up to each player. This is known as the \“third street.\“ Another betting round follows.
4. Fourth Street and Fifth Street: The dealer deals a fourth card face down to each player and a fifth card face up. Another betting round ensues.
6. Sixth Street and Seventh Street: The dealer deals a sixth card face down to each player and a seventh card face up. This is the final betting round.
7. Showdown: After the final betting round, players reveal their hands. The player with the highest ranking hand wins the pot. In the event of a tie, the pot is split among the players with the highest hands. |
